Leeds-Morecambe CRP launch film to support local communities

Leeds-Morecambe Community Rail Partnership have created their own unique film to support communities along the Bentham line.

Leeds-Morecambe Community Rail Partnership have created their own unique film to support communities along the Bentham line.

Following a tough 18 months throughout the pandemic, Leeds-Morecambe Community Rail Partnership have launched their own ‘welcome back’ campaign in a bid to encourage new passengers to enjoy journeys along the scenic route of the Bentham line.

Having successfully secured a grant from the CrossCountry Engagement Fund, the CRP turned to video experts, i-creation, to produce the video ‘We’ve Missed You Too…’. Based around the theme of City, Countryside and Coast, the video offers a warm and welcoming message to enjoy travelling on the route again. This messaging is supported by showcasing footage of the line, the diverse communities and the culture to be discovered between Leeds and Morecambe.

The video was launched on the homepage of the Bentham Line website, thebenthamline.co.uk and YouTube on Monday 19 July, to coincide with the relaxation of pandemic restrictions.
