Things to do at Drayton Manor
Drayton Manor is a small but mighty theme park, promising just as much fun as some of the larger parks in the UK. You’ll get nail-biting thrill rides, immersive experiences, quality time with exotic creatures, and a whole calendar of exciting events. Here are some of our favourite Drayton Manor rides and attractions:
- Thor & Loki: Found in the Norse-themed Vikings area, these rides are not for the faint-hearted. Thor sends you soaring on a Disk’O Coaster, while Loki spins in a gravity-defying orbit on four arms.
- Thomas Land: A hit with younger guests, Thomas Land offers twenty-five themed rides and attractions. Climb aboard your favourite engines or take flight on Harold’s Helicopter Tour. For families with toddlers and young children, it’s a magical and unforgettable experience.
- Frontier Falls: This land of old brings a pioneering spirit with attractions like the all-new Gold Rush coaster – a perfect starter ride for budding rollercoaster enthusiasts.
In addition to the rides, visitors should check out Drayton Manor Zoo, home to all kinds of animals, from meerkats to monkeys. It’s a great place to discover creatures great and small and learn about their behaviours, habitats, and the conservation work that Drayton Manor does.
When it’s time for a bite to eat, Drayton Manor has a great selection of restaurants and cafés. Grab a burger at Safari Pizza & Pasta, enjoy a family meal at the main restaurant, or stop for coffee and cake at one of the park’s many snack shacks.
About Drayton Manor
Drayton Manor’s history starts in 1950 on the site of a former manor estate. Back then, the site consisted of just a few rides and a tearoom, but it has since grown into one of the best theme parks in the UK, welcoming millions of visitors over the years.
Whether you’re rocketing through the air on a rollercoaster or watching your child meet Thomas for the first time, Drayton Manor offers moments that bring generations together. Plus, things are always changing – after celebrating 75 years in 2025, Drayton Manor is still growing and innovating with new rides and new experiences.
